Michael Kouznetsoff
Michael graduated from Moscow University of Electronics and Mathematics with a Honors Master Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and began his career as a system programmer for the Academy of Science in the USSR, than as the co-owner of a Software company.
Michael made his move to finances as the co-founder of the Futures Section at the Moscow Commodity Exchange (MCE) in 1991 and was one of the first in the world who traded futures contracts on US dollar against Russian rouble. He was the Member of the Board of the Clearing House at MCE.
In 1993 he received his Certificate in Financial Analysis and
Security Trading (FAST) from the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate
School of Industrial Administration (USA) as the top graduate and was
invited to establish the futures trading for one of Russian major banks
- the Alfa-bank (Moscow)

Therefore, he sold the futures brokerage place at MCE and in 1994 he
came to the Alfa-bank as Senior specialist of Domestic Currency market
Department. Later he assumed the position of the Head of Sales of
T-bills and bonds.
In 1995 Michael made his move to the forwards trading desk at the
Treasury of Alfa-bank. He managed the bank's portfolio on the forward
currency market during the high inflation period in Russia. For two
years he was the Member of the Board of the Derivatives Division of
Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) - the largest exchange in
Russia. Michael was licensed for trading on MCE and MICEX
, has the Certificate in Currency Market Trading from the Academy of National Economy (Moscow) since 1994.
The hard currency market became his primary emphasis in 1996. Michael was confident that this worldwide, high volume and continuous FOREX market is the right place where the mathematically precise instruments of technical analysis should be applied. So, in 1996 he became the Head of Foreign Currency trading desk and was responsible for the management of Alfa-bank's FOREX portfolio.
In 1997 Michael received his Degree in Banking Business from the
Financial Academy under the Government of Russian Federation and passed
the Examinations of the ACI (Association Cambiste Internationale) Institute - the Financial Markets Association (London)
in Foreign Exchange and Money Markets, Options, Control in the Dealing Room and Risk Management Using Derivatives.

Throughout his successful career at Alfa-bank Michael gained experience in nearly every sector of money management.
In July 1998 Michael viewed Victoria in British Columbia, Canada as the best place in the world to live and came to Canada to make it their permanent home.
In 2000 Michael has completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Michael get his second Master of Science with Honors from the International University of Monaco in 2006.
